Ultimate List of Co-Working Spaces in Edmonton, Alberta

With the rise of startup culture and technology companies in Edmonton, Alberta, there are few shared office spaces which have come up to serve the growing startup community, entrepreneurs, and freelancers. Most of them are saturated around downtown core but now they are spreading and moving to different parts of the town. Libraries, coffee shops or home offices do not meet the needs of freelancers, tech entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses.

Urban Cowork

edmonton coworking space

With one less thing to worry about business owners can focus on what is important — growing their businesses, getting the right talent etc.

At URBN Cowork GROWTH happens organically. When like-minded business owners end up under the same roof, connections are magically made and that’s what the founders Heather ad Dylan wanted.

They designed the spaces to promote COLLABORATION without forcing it on everyone. URBN Cowork is more than just a building where startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers, business owners share office space, they are a COMMUNITY working toward a better future for work. Here the 8-4 becomes extinct and productivity flourishes.

Since opening their first location in Sherwood Park, Alberta in 2017, they have grown to two locations and over 50 members.

Although coworking is a relatively new concept in Canada, they have been well received. Their second location in south Edmonton opened in January of 2018 and quickly filled up. Their expansion of Edmonton South is now complete.
