As of late, there has been a lot of talk around whether or not SEO is still an important for any business. Some people even go as far as to say that SEO is less effective now than it has ever been, it is irrelevant, or that it is even completely dead.

We all hear this joke that Betty White is dead, actually she isn’t, but she has been reported dead numerous times it’s becoming almost believable. And just as that juicy piece of info is “fake news,” so is the suggestion that SEO is dead. We’ve been hearing this one for years now, but it’s still not true and likely will never be.

Before Google’s under-developed algorithm and ranking factors, a number of “black hat” SEO practices took rise. Think keyword stuffing, gaming the system, spamming, and low-quality, link-building strategies for improving a page’s search results ranking, often without providing any real information on the topic in the search bar.

SEO isn’t dying or less effective, but rather becoming more important each and every day.

With so many devices searching for so much information as fast as possible, the real winners of tomorrow’s Internet are the brands, entrepreneurs, and businesses able to make the best content available the quickest.

User experience is the very important when it comes to searching. Search engines want the websites to load quickly, they want them to navigate easily, and they want them to be valued by the searchers (They found what they were looking for: Searcher’s Intent). Providing an amazing user experience is the most important thing that contributes to ranking at the top

SEO is not dead, but it has changed over the years. To stay ahead in this competitive industry, you must read about Google updates and adapt changes in the industry. SEO is like a cockroach in a nuclear apocalypse, it can’t die. Not unless Google dies, which seems unlikely in the near future.
