We are all followers and we love following. The moment we don’t know what to do we get uncomfortable. When you don’t make it easy for your customers, you tend to loose.
Yesterday we talked about why service providers waste more than 70% of online leads because of not having a solid closing system in their business and they fail to get back to their potential leads right away. There is another major problem before even traffic turns into a lead.
Service providers need to understand we living in the day and age where everyone has ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder). You have seen how we browse our screens, you have seen how frustrated we get when website doesn’t load on time. Similarly we get frustrated when we businesses don’t make it easy for us to work with them.
Right now here is how the process works for an average plumber:
Step 1: Potential customer finds the plumbing company somewhere on Google, Bing, Social Media, Billboard, Radio etc.
Step 2: They call or email to get a quote or an estimate
Step 3: If it’s an email they don’t get a reply right away and happens on the phone that they don’t get a call back the same day
Step 4: On average it’s now already 1-5 days from the lead first contacted. Their closing chance is now lower then it was when they contacted.
Refine the process using appointment booking system and inform your customer upfront:
Step 1 (Same): Potential customer finds the plumbing company somewhere on Google, Bing, Social Media, Billboard, Radio etc.
Step 2: Using one of these tools and without talking to any anyone they can book an appointment for service or an estimate:
